Ioh(ann)es Dei gratia rex Angl(ie) et cetera.  Sciatis quod concessimus et confirmauimus episcopo Couentr’ et ecclesie de Lichefeld’ viginti quinque sol(idos) de mercato de Lichefeld’ quos habent de dono reg(is) Ric(ardi) fratris nostri habendos et tenendos sic(ut) carta eiusdem reg(is) fratris nostri rationabiliter testatur.  Teste R(anulfo) com(ite) Cestr’, W(illelmo) com(ite) Arund’, W(illlemo) comit(e) de Ferar’, Will(elmo) de Braiosa, Ada de Port, Petro de Pratell’.  Dat’ per manum Hug(onis) de Well’ apud Bonumportum xiii. die Iulii anno regni nostri quarto.
