Comment

Various post medieval endorsements. Approx. 178 X 118 + 29mm.

Note the mistake over rationabile donum. The final line ends half way across but is infilled with penwork. For the charter of Richard I confirmed here, originally granted at Pont-de'l'Arche, 10 June 1195, renewed by another charter (whose original survives together with A) dated at Vaudreuil, 7 May 1196, in both instances specifying that bakers who mill their flour at Geoffrey's mill may sell their bread wherever they wish in Rouen, see The Itinerary of King Richard I, ed. L. Landon, PRS new series xiii (1935), nos.450, 465.
