Calendar

Notification that, at the request of the mayor and citizens of London, the king has granted and in this his present charter confirmed that henceforth the weaver’s guild shall not be in the city of London or be supported in any way at all. Since the king is accustomed to take 18 marks of silver annually from the guild, the citizens of London are to render to the king and his heirs 20 marks at Michaelmas.
